The Story Of A Former Banker, Now Business Writer & Start-up Strategist

Once upon a time, I funded start-ups. Today I help start-ups to develop their ideas into brands because entrepreneurship can only be fostered if we get more startups up and running. After almost a decade of working in banking, I learned that business start-up isn’t rocket science, that what startups want is a sense of community, and some empowerment.  They’re warriors, they can figure out the rest.

I once told entrepreneurs whether their loan was approved or not. I argued with underwriters on entrepreneurs’ behalf. I worked with startups to structure their businesses in order to get the funding they needed. And I’m still being a nuisance in the name of entrepreneurship.

My first start-up client was a law firm–for my other half. That’s when I got my “ah-ha” moment. Today, I’ve helped lawyers, doctors, architects, coffee shops, spas, real estate developers, restaurants, retailers, etc to start their businesses.

Aside from being an immigrant entrepreneur who truly believes in the power of entrepreneurship as an empowerment tool, I’m also an international business contributor to Forbes the founder of the informational platform for startups, StartupBizTalk , and a former contributor to Entrepreneur.
